I have a form requiring a date stamp, that is being POSTed to an off-site ASP page.
After submitting - I want visitor to view an confirmation page on my site

Is php the way to go with this - or is there a simpler way. I'm stuck an having difficulty climbing "Out of the Box"

have your form's action tag point to your own form processor. in it, use the technique described here to send the data on to the other site via POST then display whatever confirmation you like.
