I'm trying to build a website using PHP lang.
What I'm trying to do is .. create a template (layout) that could be linked to all my PHP pages. For future update or something like that
No need for database/ user / etc .. just updating the template once in awhile
I'm trying to catch up with PHP world.
Seems easy function but hardly to get it

just make an include:

include("template.inc");

in the top of each php file.

You dont have to give it the extension .inc ; you can call it almost anything you please, whether it is a css or a major part of your layout which repeats on every page.

edit: and then of course you have a file called template.inc with the content you want to link to the page calling it with the include function; in this example it is in the same directory.

yep just create another script and call it in any script you like with the include method
