Quick question
need a lil function that checks to see if a supplied number is a negative number, returns TRUE if it is negative.
Will one of the str functions do this? or similar?

Why not just look to see if the number $is<0?

With all these functions about, it's easy to do. More than once I've written stuff with ANDs and ORs after forgetting that XOR exists.
