[Resolved] php on windows/apache with gd library

Is any1 running php on windows using apace2 webserver?

i need help installing jpeg and png functionality, any1 done this or know of a php version with this already in? here is my php info

im not sure what gd version it is but it was already built in to the php and i just had to enable it.

Should give you the GD version you're running. I would assume though, that with PHP 5, it's probably GD 2 which has jpeg and png functionality in it already... What's the actual problem you're having?

i did phpinfo() its what i pasted above, the php installation i got was from a book, it had gd2 already in it and i just had to enable the php_gd2.dll in the php.ini file. Doesnt let me display jpeg or png tho, i also want to use true type fonts and on php.net/image it says i need the freetype library which i have downloaded but down know how to add to php.

Would i maybe be better downloading gd from the gd site and configuring that? does that definately have the jpeg and png functionality enabled already?

i cant find hardly any documentation on how 2 add extensiosns to php in windows it all seems to be linux

also my book says to work with png and jpeg i need additional libraries and it gives me addresses for them, but they dont tell me how 2 configure them for windows 🙁 well maybe they do but i probably am not understanding it
