cookie to remember users link choice

Hey all.

Basically what I'm looking to do is create a cookie that will remember a users link choice (either English or French) that they choose from the home page before logging into the site.

I want to have it so that the user comes back already on the English or French part of the site based on their original link click choice.

Any help is appreciated?

What's this got to do with setting a cookie? Just follow the examples here.
