Connecting to Oracle 7.3.2 with PHP5?

I am having trouble trying to connect to oracle 7.3.2 from php5 running on a linux box. I tried loading 10g instant client to load the libraries but that didnt work. I cant seem to find the libraries for oracle 7. anyone know where they are? or if there is another way that will work?
