I have some interest in PHP, but the problem i have now, is way over my head.
I have purchased the ad management script AdRevenue from w3matter.com for 200 bucks.
Unfortunatly, right the script doesn't work.
If i set up a zone, and create an ad that should link to microsoft, the output address is www.mydomain.com/www.microsoft.com
It acts as if www.microsoft.com is a folder or something.
I have no idea of what to do about this... I have tried contacting support, but i realized that they aren't very helpfull when they have recieved their money. Ofcourse, i can't upgrade the script either without paying another 200.
I have tried installing the script on 3 different servers, both paid and free, but to no avail. I have even tried unzipping it again.
I would very much appreciate help on figuring this out.
Here's some info that might guide you to the right conclusion.
some of the ads will output the correct URL, while some will output www.mydomain.com/www.microsoft.com
Atleast that is what i remember from a few months ago, when i first tried it.
In the script's admin panel where i edit the HTML of the Zone, this is displayed: <a{URLSTRING}>{IMAGESTRING}</a>
My unqualified guess tells me that the the file Preview.php has something to do with it.
