Sorry to do this but this is my fav programing forum... i don't find others helpful... just want to know if anyone can help with the below
I've currently got a website with news and sporting draws/ results using PHP and data being stored in a MySQL database.
What I want to do is make a VB program which will download and display data from this MySQL database and also upload and insert data...
I'm thinking of doing this via a XML webservice....
I've looked over the net but can not seem find info on how to put this together... can anyone help me????
Things I'm looking a getting more info on
1/ How XML links to the MySQL database
2/ How my VB application will link to the XML file on the website
