[Resolved] time input form

Im unable to discover why the date will not be submitted with the rest of the values from my form, it shows when I visit the webpage:

$today = date('Y-m-d');
echo "<input type=\"text\" name=\"Sdate\" id=\"formin2\" class=\"memorize\" value=\"$today\">";

i believe there isn't anything wrong with the code u pasted.. it should be the rest of the codes not pasted down here that is causing the problem.

double quotes in Parenthesis I think was the solution

$dtime = date("D M j G:i:s T Y");
echo "$dtime";

// example would be
Tue May 24 15:20:23 CDT 2005
