[Resolved] SMTP Mailing problem

Just reinstalled apache, php and phpMyAdmin...........everything seems to be working fine until I tested a form that was working fine before. Its a basic input form for name and address and message and a submit button. The form appears to submit but the mail message is never received. I have looked in my PHP.ini ( Snippet below)file and cant find the problem.

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = smtp.auth.oneandone.co.uk ; for Win32 only
smtp_port = 25
sendmail_from= [e-mail] ; for Win32 only

I am using the above in my SMTP settings and still get no response. My email works fine in outlook express and now in a quandry.

Anyone know a solution ??

unless thats a private mailserver on your local network i am unable to connect to it. i queried oneandone.co.uk for their mail exchangers and it returned mx00.schlund.de. try putting that in your php.ini and see what happens.

That is a private mailserver. I am testing on a server set up on my laptop. Will try the address you give me.

That seemed to have fixed the problem. A bit baffled as last time im sure I was using my present smtp server and it was working!!
