Image caching in PHP???

Hi techies..

Is image caching in php possible..I have my site http://www.direct2deal.com ..It consists of large amount of repeative images...

Is it possible that i retreive image from the cache memory?? Or is it any other suitable way that image don't get loaded from server regularly???

Pl. help me to resolve the problem !!!!!!
