Sybase <----> Mysql

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anybody knows of a way to 'syncronise' data between a sybase DB and a MySQL DB. Basically I am developing a frontend for another system to make it easier to use and extract statistics.

I have already developed the majority in mysql and the customer does not want me to directly use the sybase DB.

I am not familiar with Sybase at all but was hoping what I could do is to have a seperate server for Apache/PHP/Mysql and then a daemon running that will syncronise data between the sybase and mysql DB's.

Any ideas would be GREAT!!!!
