problem about database

I am new to this php language and i had got a small problem .I had placed all my images in images folder and i wat a reference of that images files in my databasei,e i created a images reference in the database.I wat to upload a image and that image should be placed in the images folder and automaticallyin my database it should update.i want the actual code of that.

 Please help me .

If you have a problem please feel free to post it here and someone will try to help you but to give you a code - what can I say: this is a wrong place for that...
