I am making an MD5 hash calculator...this is easy i know...

BUT i would like the hash to be calculated after each character has been typed, and shown on screen in real time.

So as i type the next character the hash value changes instantly on screen.

How do i do this?

Interacting with the user real time like this is done via javascript, not php. Search google for "javascript md5" and you should find what you're looking for.
