[Resolved] Remove Shouting Function

I am using the following function to remove fully capitalised entries into variables.

However, it changes the first letter of each paragraph to a small letter.

I'm looking for a quick adjustment to this code, so that this problem is eradicated.

[man]ucfirst[/man] will capitalize the first letter of the input string.

Yes, that will fix the first word. But when there are new paragraphs, the first letter of the paragraph is a small letter. Is there a way to avoid this?

I'm not sure how to implement this into the code though. Every first letter is capitalised, which is correct except from the very first letter of each paragraph. I thought the function would be easily amendable to incorporate this, I'm just not familiar with replace functions to actually go about doing so.
