Hey I was wondering if anyone here has used Mega Upload. I am not sure where / how to put the copy function in. It says I should use rename and has a part of it coded but that does not work at all.

It's been a few days with no response. My lack of CGI knowledge is really holding me back I think.

copy($file['tmp_name'][$i], "/home/worn/public_html/images/3.jpg");

Is givin me the error:

Warning: copy(/tmp/VDYGcySEh3) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/worn/public_html/upload2.php on line 49

I don't get why the second half of the command is missing. I know everything else is working now including the unlink and such.

It's saying its a permissions error, so you have a pretty good idea of where to start. Make sure the user the script runs under has the necessary permissions to write a file in that directory.

all folders mentioned are 777

Does your server have SELinux running?

Are you running this on a server you have full access to (like it's sitting in your room)? Or is it remotely hosted? If it's remotely hosted, do you have SSH access to it?

Basically if you can find out it's running SELinux, turn off 'Protection for httpd'. This was a problem I had a few weeks ago that made files untouchable even in 777 folders.

I have complete access to my remote server and can SSH into it. I have many many sites on it that I use copy on all the time. Whenever I have 777 on a site, it lets me copy files into it. Is there any reason the tmp file is disappearing before PHP can copy it? It's really odd it's only showing that first part as the problem and then saying it can't do it.
