Hi Eric,
I haven't used InnoDb so I'm not sure what you mean by 'multiple table inserts'.
What is it you are trying to achieve that you can't without InooDb?
As far as I can see from your query ...
DELETE applications
, client_rates
, avail_apps
, req_docs
, uploads
FROM applications
, client_rates
, avail_apps
, req_docs,uploads
WHERE applications.cid='".$var."'
OR client_rates.cid='".$var."'
OR avail_apps.cid='".$var."'
OR req_docs.cid='".$var."'
OR uploads.cid='".$var."'
... it's lacking 'join' statements. Without them ...
FROM applications
, client_rates
, avail_apps
, req_docs,uploads
... is a 'cross-product'. If you don't understand what I mean, then come back and I'll try and explain.
Paul 🙂
