I'm taking my exam this month (26th) but already have the books...

Any hints or tips for it ??

Most of it was concerning the main langage structure. Make sure you know type juggling 100%, for instance, why if(array() == 0) would return true etc... Revise OOP too (quite a few confusing ones)... I also had an unusual amount of confusing questions about refrences (great lol) and regular expressions... so make sure you know them. Make sure you know about file handling and arrays in general. I also had a few email questions and one or 2 date ones too. I didnt seem to get any questions on streams and networking thank the lord lol

you get a pass/fail grade, your exact %age is not given, and the pass %age isn't documented :o

It was funny!

The place I did the exam (oxford Street) wasn't very good - they were clueless in reception area.

I got called into a room with this suited chap and his colleague - the room had no computer - so I thought 'this is odd' - they must be going to go through the exam non-disclosure agreement. I got poured a glass of water and thought this is slightly surreal, it was only when I noticed that they had a someones cv that I twigged something was amiss!! :o

Anyway back to the reception to see what they were playing at! And this poor chap sitting there waiting for his interview!! :p

Finally, found the exam room after being sent round the building a couple of times - 30 mins into the exam the network crashed - and then 10 minutes later - didn't loose my answers but was mildly worrying when it first happened :queasy:

As for the exam - was ok - dunno what the pass percentage was - some questions very easy compared to the practise exam and others I just had to play the percentage game and discount the answers I knew to be wrong...
