I have a website that im working on, this site is for a local football league. When you come to the site (www.plfl.net) it displays the latest results, ladder and coming games for 1 round all for the League game which is the top grade in the competition.

What i would like to do is have users register on the site and give them access to change what is displayed on the home page through sessions. This change would only happen on their machine.

So they can have the Under 17 Results, Reserves Ladder and show upto 5 coming games. By default i would like the League information to show then u may register and then change through a profile screen.

I already have a membership system setup.

All the information is stored in a MySQL Database and PHP

Sessions won't do the job...you'll need Cookies (since you want to store all the information long term on the users machine).

I'm not sure what your question is exactly unless that answered it.

Hi might have not explained it enough or i tried to explain to much. ill put it simply.

How do i customise the home page of a website when all my information is stored in a users table in a my sql database.

Hope this helps a bit more.

Ummm, customize what?

Why don't you tell use exactly what you are doing including posting up some code.

Otherwise, the most specific my answer could be is to read the manual.
