free or commercial stats software?

We have been using free stats sofware like webalizer etc. Now, some people suggest the commercial software like Urchin.

Our clients are fine with the webalizer stats reports, but the commercial software may make our hosting deal more attractive.

I would like to hear from your experience that

1) should we use commercial stats software or the free software like webalizer? From your experience, how many clients really need the fancy stats?

2) for commecial stats software, what is the one you recommend?

3) for free stats software, anything else except webalizer? something better than webalizer?

For free, I suggest awstats. For paid I suggest Live stats
