it doesnt look like it.. the code I used to write had to reference to the header and footer from each dynamic body writeup, but that was a lot simpler to me then having to write out tons of html and javasccript over and over.
If I did it like how that sounds my site would come out incomplete, it would be perfect if it were static and I just wanted to divide the files for easier coding, even if at first it shows up correctly referencing/including the correct file but when I reference or link to another page from within that included file will it not try to open up a new document in which only the body is written and then so nothing is displayed ? since Ill be linking to another page in my site and not wanting to have to write all that code again.
Its hard for me to explain it since I havent kept up with the design business as much as I should've these last two years. Im trying to think of a simple way to put it, say I have five pages, one is just the header that has a reference to continue with another file for the body, the second is the footer and also has a reference telling it to continue where the body left off, and the others are just the body of the page with references to the header and footer to be included automatically but so that I do not have to rewrite several codes.
This was something I did with Coldfusion for the job I was in for extra security and a time saver. I dont know exactly what language it properly belongs to, but someone referenced PHP along with this site to me.
