Yes I really spent money on Beginning PHP5, Apache, and MySQL Web Development

I had a quick flick through, only got it yesterday. I went straight to the pagination part and yeah... confusion... I had to use two resources to understand it. Why do people insist on creating functions for everything. Functions are good but they are hard to read when you're trying to learning something.

If you're unfamiliar with functions, you might want to read the section about functions in Chapter 2 before trying to do more advanced code - chances are you're going to see them again at some point in your coding career 🙂

Part of me says... no screams never again, the other 99% says BRING IT ON!

So many bumps in the road, how little did I really know, the hits to my ego were many but we surpassed all and have almost come out on top, just working on displaying search results... sounds easy but having issues with GET and POST and a selection form :bemused:

The funniest thing, I was unable to get WHERE to work with strings then I realised you needed double quotes :o I went through a lot, even re-worked my code to do the work-around...

I've been quiet because my net at home died, its back now though... :evilgrin:
