there are so many out there...
which php based blogging system do you use? which would you recommend?
so many options are great, but so many options make for a headache!

I use Wordpress but I know some of the core PHP professionals use Serendipity so it can't be all bad either.
Again... why not use the advantages of this great language and create your own 😕
Surely Elizabeth you and others could pump out the code for a blog in no time at all and have it suited to your needs.
...but then again, why re-invent the wheel when you don't have to? Wordpress has all the features I need and using it instead of coding my own allows me to get back to my two jobs, my two kids, my book, my weekly gigs, and my users groups. Now, if I had unlimited free time, that would be a different story. 🙂

I recommend TextPattern. Except, they are taking forever to get this release out the door which was described as imminent awhile ago...it's pure php...
