How to manage MySQL Connection problem

Hello there,

It is discovered that there is a too many connections problem. I am told to edit the script file using mysql_close(). I did it and no solution.

How can I increase the # of maximum connections. The database is on remote server. What shall I do? Please I need your kind help!

if you have access to the mysql.conf or my.ini files on the remote server you can edit those to change the max_connections...if you don't have access you will need to ask your host
