PHP_MySQL.dll

Hello Readers.

I am attempting to connect to MYSQL using php. It's not working.

The thing is, I can't find that PHP_MySQL.dll file. Can anyone tell me where that is?

Hi there,

First of all, have you read the installation notes? It tells you everything you need to know there. If you don't understand any particular bit, come back.

Secondly, it might help to tell us what you already know ... PHP4 or PHP5, server type, OS etc.

Also, did you try try phpinfo(); as suggested, to find out what, if any, version of MySQL is running?

I haven't read the instail intructions. 🙁 Shame on me.

But I am running 5.0.4 php. On a Windows XP 2002 os.

IIS5 sever software.

...installed i.e. if you installed your PHP in say C:\php\ and the php.exe is there so is php_mysql.dll...

At least that's where it was when I installed PHP version 5...
