They look great! I wish I could send you to a fancy site, and show off my niece (.. sister daughter ? We have the same word for causin and niece, and I always forget which is which!). But I am afraid she has not made her appearence on the web yet :-(

I only wish I'd had a girl or two. Love my two sons though, and wouldn't trade them for the world.

Girls are definitely more high-maintenance though, and you have to worry about that whole "dating" thing later on 🙂

Please, I've seen a few pictures of you here and there. More importantly, they smile like they're quite happy. And THAT, more than anything, is the sign of a well raised kid.

True. True. OF course, if I had a daughter, she'd probably have more of a problem finding boys who weren't scared to death of her.

Kids are the key to our future. I love kids!!! nothing cuter! I would love to have as many as my wallet can support which at the moment is none 🙁

I hope to have at least 2 boys and a girl. Any more than one girl and I will have a heart attack when they turn 13. I dare any boy to even TRY *grasps his shotgun :glare: although I will extend the same sort of treatment to the boys by teaching them to be gentlemen.

Elizabeth do mothers really know what their children are saying when they appear to be "mixing and confusing words"? Is "yeah" just the universal mother answer to young children or do they really have a lot of valid points?

I was on the bus the other day, there was a young boy riding on the bus for I think the first time. He kept saying "bus mummy" and mummy was saying "yeah bus". The bus came to a stop, the little boy stood up then the bus suddenly took off throwing the young boy to the ground. There was a silence on the bus as we all thought the boy would begin to cry, he got up and simply said "bus", everyone laughed including the mother 😃

Nothing cuter.

I would say 90% of the time moms (and dads) can understand the gibberish better than anyone, simply because we're more used to the "way" they talk and their own little references to words. For instance, my daughter called her pacifier her "pot" so when she would say "Pot?" "Pot?" Then I knew what she was looking for - other concerned citizens might have thought she was jonezing for something else 🙂. Kids also have a way of referencing something that happened in passing weeks and weeks ago, so sometimes it takes you a minute to figure out what their frame of reference is.

But then there's that 10% of the time when you have absolutely no clue what they're talking about... that's when the good ol' "yeah, honey" kicks in. 🙂 For all you know you just agreed to letting them run with scissors or run off with a motorcycle gang, or goodness knows what else.
