RewriteRule help please

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to make a RewriteRule so that I can do the following

request:

Result:

./mypage.php?Source=$1&Author=$2

As far as I got is

RewriteRule ^{([a-zA-Z]*/)$} mypage.php?Source=$1&Author=$2 [L]

but that will only work for

but it will not work if i add another directory to the url like i need... any one know why this might be?

Cause the pattern is only set to detect one directory.

How many more directories do you need? Are you talking about that $2 that's supposed to go in 'Author=' ? If so, try this:

RewriteRule ^{([a-zA-Z])/([a-zA-Z])$} mypage.php?Source=$1&Author=$2 [L]

EDIT: My apologies. There was an error in my pattern, though 'tis fixed now.
