php error in site

Dear Sir,
One of my site is getting the following error message " Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp\sess_82a22f3512b69aeb5f639e09dde3ff7c, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory<path>". The site is hosted in windows 2003 server with php 4.3.4. The same code is working well with another site hosted in windows NT server. When i comment the session the code works well & coding is done with no session ending. Please help.
