Cannot use "ENTER" in form, but must use <br>

Recently our server was attacked by a DDOS and everything back to normal. However, all my forum cannot submit or edit post.

Then after try and error, I realise that I must use <br> in the text form instead of pressing "ENTER".

How can this happen ? because three server are effected after this DDOS thing.
