ok, I have a form and am trying to append a php variable to the end of it once it is submitted, am I on the right track?

echo "<form method=get action=search_by_date.php?$c_number=".$result1['C_NUMBER'].">"

Yes, but you forgot your ending semi-solon to end the statement.

I find trial and error is the best way to learn.
