rounding off on an average

ok this is my code

$prelevel=$deflvl + $strlevel + $hplevel + $atklevel + $stalevel;
$classlevel = $prelevel / "5";

$classlevel is displayed such as you are a $classlevel $class

how can i make it so when it averages out it rounds off to the nearest whole number? there is probably a better way to code averages but this is the only way i could think off and im rather new to php so if someone knows a better way and also can help me with my decimal problem i would greatly appreciate it...

As far as a better way, there's no average function as far as I know, if that's what you mean. You could easily write one though. For that matter there's one in a user comment on this page.
