masking the functionality of the back button

well i m still new to php....i dont know if this is possible....
friends i need toachieve the following:
- whenever the user clicks on the back button of the IE browser, i want that instead of going back, another web page should be opened(a particular web page which i desire).....
is it possible???, if so kindly post some code snippet...i would b gr8ful...

how would you feel if every time you hit your borwser's back button while viewing my site you are redirected to http://www.dangerous-site.com/install_unknown_exploit?

wouldn't you be happy if you had a browser that won't allow someone to control it and to perform actions different from the action you want your browser to perform?

i mysql i'm happy that this is not possible and i don't see any reason why you need to change the behaviour of software running at your visitors' computers...

I prefer my back button to behave like a back button, myself.

But no, it's not possible. PHP doesn't know what a "back button" is - and nor should it.
