[Resolved] What's the best way to store HTML in a database?

I've been using BLOBs to store the HTML coding in the database - and I can easily pull them back and spit them right into the PHP driven page to have all the bolds and italics and picture links and so on ... but is there a better way to put them in the database? BLOBs are kinda ... not that useful I'd say ... suggestions anyone?

HTML is just plain text. why would you use BLOBS to store plain text? BLOBS are typically used to store binary data. just use TEXT or VARCHAR fields.

Hehe L The text field ... duh. I was wondering if there was something more elaborate or otherwise functional in a way this sort of field wasn't.

At any rate - I just changed it over into a text field ... it is much easier to deal with that way. recoils Thanks for the response!

Why? ... because I didnt' know what I was doing when I built the database... That's a good reason - isn't it?
