[Resolved] while()?

I'm using a while statement which is suposed to verify if two conditions are met, but I get an error when it is run,

while (($result1 = mysql_fetch_array($query1) && ($result = mysql_fetch_array($query)))

What is the error, and what ar ethe querys like?
COuld the queries have an error?

You are probably missing a ; on the line before or something silly like that.

Post a few lines before the while statement if that is not it.

Thats not it, The statement works good if I don't include the other statement (&&...) in the while statement. But here's the code

    if($i % 2) {

    } else { 
        PRINT "<Tr>\n"; 
    }

Got it.

The second bracket is missing after the first :
($result1 = mysql_fetch_array($query1) &&

should be:

($result1 = mysql_fetch_array($query1)) &&

well, Let's say.. I do not know it half as well as some of the more experienced people here on the forum.

Anyway. I started .. 2 years ...? ago. Just reading many posts, code and debug things yourself, and read the manual.

most important is usually getting the logic behind what you want to do. And if you feel that yuour solution is really complex & inelegant.. There usually is a better way to do it, and it might be time to ask for help.

Also.. Realize that what is in my footnote is usually true.. Do not try to get from a to B directly. Sometimes a step more solves a lot of headaches.
