Modifying $id

Hi!

I'm trying to modify my users ID.

now i have:

1,2,3,4,5,6 and so on

and i want:

1:1 1:2 1:3 2:1 2:2 2:3 and so on..

I've tried a $output but it didn't work out correctly..

Somebody out there that can help me?

but you should modify it for display purpose only

But when I open the output page it becomes an neverending list... :S

ok, lets set one thing straight, i'm a newb.. 😛

but i'll try to explain my problem a little bit more specific..

I've set up a php game for my friends, it's a galactic game.

Now the the ID's for attacking ect is 1,2,3,4 and so on..

What i really want, is to have the users "co-ordinates" to be "Galaxy : Planet" (1:2).

I've managed to set up the players co-ordinates i the "galaxy-view" So the players are divided in galaxies.

I have also managed to set the attacking co-ordinates to be equal to the planets ID, for example; 2:4 = ID 8.

My problem now is to get the planets co-ordinates to be shown in the ranking section. I used $page to set the galaxy co-ordinates in the "galaxy-view", so unless i find a way to copy the co-ordinates from the "galaxy-view" to the ranking section, i have to found another method...

I realize now that i've just written a bunch of b**sht but if u know a way I can work it out it would be b-e-a-utiful! 🙂
