Hello,
I am a complete newbie and am trying to install the shopping program X-cart onto my server.
To start with, everything goes well, the installation wizard creates tables, but then when xcart attempts to import data I get the following message:

Fatal error: Fatal error occured while installing database.
Please, check all again and restart installation. Maybe you have not enought rights to that database.
Please correct the error(s) before proceeding to the next step. "
I then contacted my webhost and explained the problem, who replied:

I have checked the permissions on the database, the results were as
follows:
MySQL Permission Requirements
create Pass
alter Pass
insert Pass
update Pass
select Pass
delete Pass
drop Pass
Overall Result: Pass
If it is still failing the only errors I can assume would be in the
setup of
the program itself - is it connecting from the webserver itself?"
Being a complete newbie, I am totally lost. Can anybody tell me what the problem may be?
