Recording Exit Page

I have got a page product.php and at the bottom of the page there is a small bit of script which sends me an e-mail when this page is viewed with all the details of the visitor.

Is it possible to record the page which they go onto from that page eg: if someone clicks on link1.php from product.php it will tell me that they went from product to link1.php?

link1.php would be an external site link which is nothing to do with my site?

Is there a variable like:

$_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"]

yup, there is, but http_referrer only show's the page the user came from, not the page the user goes to

what you can do it point your links to one of your own pages

<a href="redirect.php?url=http://www.bbc.co.uk">

And on the redirect page, make a note of the user details.
