Im almost there i need some tweaking

i have written the code and i have linked the submit query to the template i want to put the infomation in but can someone help me do it so then when i type up the infomation it is carried onto the template

Hi,

You should post the form to an other PhP page, which contains the code as explained in the script you mentioned before.

So:

Post the form to the next PHp script
Get the varioables from the POST ed array
run the script as described before.

PS: I do not agree that you cannot properly layed-out pages without using a texteditor. If you use html / CSS properly, you can get perfectly formatted pages.

could it be possible for you to explain it in more depth because what i want to do is be able to type the info onto what i have created so it can be put onto a ready made format ready to print off

Hi Kingpaw,

notice how I posted to be informed if you found a solution: I am not familiar with the script. Unfortunately, this is a very busy period for me (3 weksites to built, and defend my PhD thesis on juli 1st). I do not have time to edit anything else. I can tweak an accidental post here and there.

It does not accept the post, since .doc is not a PhP format. You need to call the .doc file from an PhP file.
