[Resolved] Input Type="file"

I am using a form with an INPUT TYPE="FILE" field.

Is there any way to pre-fill this field with a default path & file?

For example, the user loads the page and right off the bat it says something like:

[ c:\folder\subfolder\filename.ext ] <Browse>

Nope, sadly not for 'security' reasons. I have a pseudo work around for some applications where I have a hidden field set to the directory, and with javascript set the value of the hidden field to the value of the file field when it changes, but that's only useful for scripts I run on the server as it just uses the given file path.

Well, I appreciate the feedback. I didn't think there was a simple way of doing this, but figured I'd check.
