CGI Binary Vs. ISAPI module

Ok, I'm finally reading the installation instructions on my PHP 5.

But I've reached the point where I have to make a decision, and I don't know which way to go.

I'm using Windows XP with IIS5. So I have been given two options for installation.

I can choose CGI binary or ISAPI module set ups.

I'm really knew to this so if anyone can guide me in the right direction, and tell me the reason why, I would much appreciate it.

Is this for a development server?

If so I'd say go with the CGI - reason: if you make a runaway script you can do ctrl-alt-delete, get up the task manager, find php.exe and shut it down.

"It'll shut down after 30 second anyway" - Ha! I wish. I suppose if you're not doing mad things with sockets and other types of black magic then it's not an issue.

If you're going to get lots of hits, then the module is better.
