How to convert a PDF file to a text file and vice versa using php

Hi all,

I want to convert a PDF file to a text file and later I again want the text file converted back to a PDF file.
Are there any functions in PHP to accomplish this purpose?

Can anybody help me doing this please? (using PHP)

Take a look at the [man]pdf[/man] manual page although it is mainly on how to create a PDF, the first user comment has code with how to get pdf to strings. (User Comment)
