PHPSESSID ID in url

I'm using php script in html pages and having the html file parsed as php.

Now the url looks like this...

How do I get the pages to appear like this

P.S. was told to use

php_value session.use_trans_sid 1

in the htaccess file but it does not work.

The strange thing is one domain on my server does not do this but all of the ones I just created has this issue.

Is there somewhere that a global option can be set on my server so all domains can not show this string?
