Need advice to sent newsletter to 3000-5000 ?

Hi all,

Right now, I am using phpmailer to sent my html/text newsletter to 150 emails. It's kinda slow but it works.

Qusetions:

1 Now I want to use phpmailer to sent to 3000-5000 emails, anyone has done this?

2 I get the emails from my database right now. Would just an emails.txt be better???

3 Should I use another way to sent my newsletter? .cgi script??

4 Which commercial email-newsletter prog. would you recommend???
