pls give me a TYPO3 help...

i am very new to TYPO3,

i was using Dreamweaver for php coding.
currently i have typo3 installed.

pls tell me how to
write my own php code using typo3.

i tried this,

New Page->New Content->Script

but there is no text box to insert our code.(this may be a foolish try though)
