Uploading pictures using a form

I am having a nightmare.

I am attemptng to up load pictures from the web site using

move_uploaded_file

It is a standard script taken from a PHP book,

however,
It keeps coming up with the following Warning.

: failed to open stream: Permission denied in

Can anyone help me.

Showing some code would help, also making sure the directory your uploading to has write permissions.

I'm going to take a wild punt and guess that "eddeee" is the name of the directory?

$destination = '/eddeee/'.$_FILES['pix']['name'];

And that's probably still wrong. I don't know where on your system "eddeee/" is, but I'm (again) guessing that it's not right off your filesystem's root directory (which is where you're currently saying it is).

If there is a directory called "eddeee" in the current directory, try modifying the code to look as such:

$destination = './eddeee/'.$_FILES['pix']['name'];

If there's not, then make one and make sure it has the correct permissions for write access.
