[Resolved] SQL data generated dropdown list issue

This function works all the way to the while{} loop. It almost seems like there's no $result, but I've used the same script(-the dropdown list stuff) to generate search results and such.

Your problem may be to do with not ending the option tags

echo "<option select>Choose a model....</option>

and

echo "<option onclick='document.indexd.submit();'".$myrow['p_Model'] . "</option>";

thx, but not the problem. </option> is not longer neccisary for one, and second, anything put in these brakets isnt doing anything, as if the $result wasnt there.
You can echo "whatever you want"; and it wont come out, whether related to the data or not.

Also, I did find the syntax issue on the <option> line, but that didnt help anything, its still not returning anything.

How can I pull a single value out of the $result, without a loop? I want to check and see if it is returning anything or not, because I'm starting to think its, not, but I just cant tell why.

It was a problem with a lack of $responce. One of the variables was being passed incorrectly.
