I'm so new it hurts. Took a career course on programming back around '90. So I'm familiar with the concept.

I'm a handyman in Southern California. Soon to be site developer.

Bought a book on what my host is running,
PHP, MySQL and Apache

Accomplished:

Developed form to email appointment details and contact information as attachments in vcard and vcalendar format. Happy to share.

Have calendar with selectable and editable day cells.

Still left to do:

Prevent double booking and ease of customer "self scheduling"

Provide my hours of operation as a list of selectable start times.
Disable duration of time previously selected.
Display appointment details representing selected time. (they like to keep up with the Jones here 😃 )
Display location, start time and end time from form to appropriate day of month cell.
One for phun. How about a push to WAP or SMS of the vcard and vcalendar to my smartfone!!:eek:

It's taken me forever to get this far. I know someone could probably whip this out of their back pocket. I'm willing to.
