query help please

Hello:

I have a question/problem. What i am trying to do is make up a query that will join to itself and find out if i have returned a the vote or not? For example me(MemID) querys the table and finds the voter (VtrID) has voted for me.. how would i query to see if i had voted for them?

Table: Votes
Fields MemID,VtrID,Vote

I have been trying to figure this out for awile and I hope someone can help me out.

  (t2.vtrid IS NOT NULL) voted_for_him_too
FROM
  votes t1
  LEFT JOIN votes t2 ON t1.memid = t2.vtrid
WHERE t1.memid = 5

hi:
thanks but i dont believe it worked . I have 126 votes total and when ran that query it retuned over 22000 results. I treid DISTINCT but it just returned the 126 with voted_for_him_too all being 1 and i know that there are some poeple that i havnt returned to the vote.

Any Idea?
