[Resolved] Upgrading PHP

I am currently running Apache2 with PHP 4.3.5 (with no problems) and am looking to upgrade to 4.3.11 (I am running all this on Windows XP)

I downloaded the lastest version 4.3.11 and installed that version of PHP

However when I restarted Apache it said it couldnt load in php_gd2.dll and php_pgsql.dll.

I have checked the extensions folder and both of these do exist locally.

Apache does start up but saying it cant load the above dll

has anyone come across this problem before - and if so, can you point me in the direction of a solution

You don't say if you checked the "extension_dir =" line in php.ini, so I'll ask: did you?

Well I have no resolved the issue.

My solution was to uninstall previous version of PHP (with a backup)

Install latest version of PHP

Then compare the backed up php.ini to the php.ini at C:\windows\php.ini

Restarted apache and all is working fine (at the moment)
