installation problem: showing no error

Dear Friends,

I am sort of new to php. I use apache server in my computer. Actually the problem is that I am not getting error messages in my browser when I am testing my php code. If I make a mistake, the browser just provide me with a blank page but no error messages! Can anyone help me?

In your PHP.ini file you need to change the error_reporting to a higher level such as

error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT
